Eimear offers an integrated approach when working with clients. Using blended modalities to work with the presenting issues. Interventions are adapted and tailored to meet the needs of the client.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy: Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. Its goal is to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are behind people’s difficulties, and so change the way they feel.

Attachment Based Approach: Attachment-based therapy is an approach to therapy that specifically targets those thoughts, feelings, communications, behaviors, and interpersonal exchanges that clients have learned either to suppress and avoid or to amplify and overemphasize because of early attachment experiences.

Psychodynamic Approach: Psychodynamic therapy, also known as insight-oriented therapy, focuses on unconscious processes as they are manifested in a person’s present behavior. The goals of psycho-dynamic therapy are a client’s self-awareness and understanding of the influence of the past on present behavior.

Humanistic Approach: Humanistic therapy is a mental health approach that emphasizes the importance of being your true self in order to lead the most fulfilling life. It’s based on the principle that everyone has their own unique way of looking at the world. This view can impact your choices and actions.
